I have always loved the way that glass, particularly colored glass, interacts with light. I never thought about creating any of these wonderful jewels myself until, looking for an activity to spark enthusiasm after retirement, I took an afternoon workshop at Bullseye Glass in Emeryville. One plate later I was hooked.
I still love it, more than ever, and am always exploring new
techniques and ideas.
As part of that exploring I have recently started private glassblowing lessons, and it seems that there is always something more to explore.
I sell some of my work at Stained Glass Garden, on Fourth Street in Berkeley. In addition I have more work available, including small gifts and jewelry, plates and dishes, and larger statement pieces. I also have bowls and spoon rests from recycled glass as environmentally suitable gifts.
Contact me if you are interested, and I’ll be happy to meet you and show you a selection.
Just let me know!
