Monday February 12th, 2018 - 7:30PM - Cabernet Sauvignon Tasting Our next tasting will be 7:30PM on Monday February 12th. We will be tasting a quarter century of Husch Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon starting with the 1992 release. The 1992 release was the inaugural vintage of winemaker Fritz Maytag who retired in 2008, so finishes with his successor, Brad Holstine a third generation Husch family member schooled at UC Davis. Al White, has been in charge of all viticulture operations at Husch since 1974. So this tasting showcases what a single dedicated group of people can produce over a quarter century. Note that if you are looking for wine that you can buy now, this tasting is not for you. Because of the higher value of these Cabernet Sauvignons, the cost is $30 for members and $35 for non-members. Members get an exclusive right to sign up for this tasting through Friday January 19th. After that it will be opened to non-members.
