Thursday September 1st, 2016 - 7:30PM - Rose Tasting
If we ever get summer in Berkeley, it is in September, assuming Indian Summer kicks in.
So we are hoping come September we can genuinely say that the weather is hot and a crisp Rose will hit the spot.
In the Southern Rhone, Rose is often consumed even with food that would normally be associated with red wines.
In the past few years Rose has thrown off the bad reputation of White Zinfandel, and its popularity is on the rise.
As usual we'll try to find some interesting contrasts, and we'll do what we can to have at least some
Roses that are intended to appeal to red wine lovers.
We hope you can join us for the festivities at 7:30PM on Thursday September 1st.
The cost will be our usual $25 for members and $30 for non-members.
Members get an exclusive right to sign up for this tasting through
Friday August 12th.
After that it will be opened to non-members.
Advanced signup is required. If interested, please sign up by sending us email at wine-rsvp@neophilic.com
