Our next tasting will be at 7:30PM on Thursday April 13th. We will be tasting a collection of Malbec wines.
Originally a popular grape in Bordeaux, it is now primarily found in Argentina and Cahors (south west France, where it is known as Cot), with some also grown in Chile, Australia, and California. A lot of Malbec wines are tannic dreck, but in Argentina it is grown at altitudes as high as 5000 feet, which gives it a very different character than Malbecs from other regions.

The cost will be our usual $25 for members and $30 for non-members.
Members get an exclusive right to sign up for this tasting through Saturday March 11th. After that it will be opened to non-members.
