The Hillside Club is ideal for private party rentals, conferences, meetings, weddings, celebrations, exhibitions, formal and informal events. It has a seating (dining) capacity of 125, and can accommodate up to 200 people in theater-style seating for ceremonies or lectures. The Club is available year-round.

Its architectural style is that of an English Tudor hall, featuring a high wood-beamed ceiling and massive fireplace. Afternoon light traverses the tall, multi-paned windows, warming the dark wood interior. Recitals often make use of the stage, piano and newly improved lighting system. The hardwood floor is perfect for dancing. An integral part of Berkeley's history, the Hillside Club is a warm, friendly place to host your event.

The Club will be happy to work with a caterer of your choosing. Your rental will include the use of tables and chairs, which can be arranged to suit you, a catering staging area, full-size stage and screen, green room, sound system, and WiFi. Other options include wired and wireless microphones, AV system, projector, fireplace, and a Steinway grand piano.

Fifty percent of the rental fee is due when reservations are confirmed. The rental balance is payable two weeks before the event. In addition, rehearsal time and charges are negotiable.
